Just thought I'd mention that this was painted before Laythe became more than a new planet that was just sand and water. This was before the science and research updates, this was before chemicals, and thermometers. Even before re-entry physics.
Laythe is on that knife edge between not freezing and freezing, much like the Atlantic. Plus I made this image before they implemented the Thermometer tool and as an artist it's my job to think outside the box
Mmm, I suppose so. So I guess it made sense. Though the distance from Kerbol would ensure that it would be a bit less than the crisp air of the Alpines. Perhaps the orbit being so close to Jool may cause some form of friction on the interior similar to Europa... hmm. Well, regardless, the official temperature would make kind of a different picture nowadays. Your friend here would be in a bit more of an insulated space suit I think, huh? Don't worry, I understand the need to think outside of the box. We are all artists and thinkers in one way or another.
Meh, regardless, the game is being ruined by it's own creators and the playerbase. I'm actually kind of happy they chased me out when they did, now I don't have to put up with shit like male vs female kerbals.
Simply put: the amount of imagination in the development of that game is quickly fading.
That was the cause of a HUGE flamewar on the KSP forums which ended with myself being banned, this series of KSP pics being cancelled, and the KSP thread on 4chan for some reason hating my guts. Basically a typical day on the interwebz.
